From pantry staple recipes using a can of beans or tuna, to roasted vegetable or delicious cheese based options, this is our collection of The Best Dip Recipes. We have a variety of recipes that are suitable for the whole family and many dietary requirements. These recipes are both a pleasure to make and eat, with some of them taking just minutes to prepare.

Easy and Delicious Homemade Dip Recipes

I absolutely love a homemade dip, and the many ways in which they can be enjoyed. Of course, dips make a great snack or easy appetiser, but they can also be served as a side to many main courses. Some of our favourites are a delicious Roast Chicken with Roasted Red Pepper Pesto or Grilled Marinated Chicken Breast with Hummus.

In this collection we will offer recipes that:

  • Meet a variety of dietary requirements – you’ll find several gluten-free, nut-free and vegetarian options. And for those that are not, we can help with necessary adjustments and substitutions.
  • You can make in advance. Although there are some that are best made close to serving, you’ll find that most dip recipes are perfect to help you get ahead on your prep, especially if you’re entertaining or looking to get organised for the week ahead.
  • Are just so delicious and very, very easy to prepare.

Cheese Dips

We are big cheese fans (in all forms!) and love a simple dip such as my Whipped Ricotta. It is a great base recipe that can be served with so many things – we top ours with fresh tomatoes, but it is also great with roasted peppers, hot honey and so much more!

Vegetable and Herb Dips

I love to roast vegetables for a simple side dish, but they also make a great addition to a dip. My Roasted Red Pepper (Capsicum) Pesto was inspired by my travels to Spain and is a great addition to an appetiser platter or as a sauce to your main meal.

The Best Baba Ganoush
One of the best things to make with eggplant is this Middle Eastern dip. It is smokiness which defines The Best Baba Ganoush. The charring of the eggplant infuses the dip which is smooth, creamy and full of complex flavours. Make it a day ahead if possible to allow the wonderful flavours to fully develop.
