From delicious desserts, snacks and comforting main courses, this is our collection of The Best Lemon Recipes. We have a variety of recipes that are suitable for the whole family and many dietary requirements. If you’re a lemon lover, you will love these wonderful recipes that make the most of this beautiful citrus fruit.

Easy and Delicious Lemon Recipes

We are big fans of citrus and use it in as many ways as possible. Whilst we love to use limes in our Creamy Lime Pie or oranges in our Blood Orange Curd or Orange Marmalade, our favourite will always be lemons. There are so many ways they can be used – in drinks, desserts, sauces and to flavour main courses.

In this collection we will offer recipes that:

  • Are gluten-free. My Mum, Faye, used to run a gluten-free catering company, and she has shared so many recipes on the blog over the years.
  • You can make in advance. Although there are some that are best made close to serving, you’ll find lots of options that will help you get ahead on your prep.
  • Are ideal for sharing with loved ones.

Gluten-Free Lemon Madeleines
You will love my Gluten-Free Lemon Madeleines which are light with a tender crumb and the bright, tangy flavour of lemon. With their pleasantly curved shell shape, these classic French teacakes have an elegant appearance, yet are made from simple, everyday ingredients. They are ideal for morning or afternoon tea or served as dessert with our No-Churn Lemon Ice Cream.

How to Make Lemon Curd

My Lemon Curd Cake is a simple, easily made cake, which is certain to become one of your favourites. It has a sweet, crispy crust that perfectly contrasts, yet complements, the luscious richness of the creamy lemon curd filling. I don’t know many people who could resist that combination of flavour and texture! Enjoy on its own, or with some whipped cream for dessert. This delicious cake can also be made gluten-free.

Lemon Blueberry Oatmeal Bars
These Lemon Blueberry Oatmeal Bars are everything you could want from a homemade sweet treat. There are many ways in which you will use them; you can add them to soups, salads, sandwiches or as the primary main course ingredient. Herb and Panko Crusted Salmon
With this Herb and Panko Crusted Salmon, you have a quickly prepared weeknight family meal, or a meal that is so elegant that it is worthy of a special occasion. A flavoursome, herbed breadcrumb crust is pressed onto the top of the salmon, then baked in the oven until the crumbs are tantalisingly crisp and golden. Roasted Chicken Marylands
These crispy skin Roasted Chicken Marylands (Leg Quarters) are tender and moist and certain to become a family favourite. With minimal effort required to make this meal, it is perfect for busy weeknights. One of the great advantages of this meal is that the chicken is quickly and easily prepared, requiring only about 5 minutes “work”, leaving the oven to do the rest. The chicken is first seasoned with salt, pepper and oregano, then baked with sliced lemon, sage, thyme and olive oil until the skin is deliciously crispy. We have a top tip to help you achieve the crispy skin.
